About Golden State Walks
The Trail Comes to You
Not everyone can lace up and hit a mountain trail. Maybe it's your knees. Maybe it's your schedule. Maybe the closest thing to a redwood forest is a screen saver on your work computer. Golden State Walks was built for you.
We film California's trails — the ones locals love and tourists miss — using an Insta360 camera that captures every angle at once. The result isn't a standard hiking video. It's something closer to actually being there: the sound of dry leaves underfoot, the way the light shifts through the pines, the view opening up as you crest a ridge. You can look left, look right, or just follow the path. No gear required.
Who We Are
Golden State Walks is a one-person hiking and video channel based in California. We explore trails across Marin County, Ventura County, and beyond — then bring those walks back to YouTube and TikTok as immersive, ASMR-style experiences. The 360° camera picks up things a regular camera misses: ambient trail sounds, peripheral views, the full sky overhead. It's hiking for people who love the outdoors, and for people who wish they could get there more often.
Why We Make Gear
The merch started simple. Viewers wanted a way to show support for the channel — and honestly, California hiking swag that doesn't look like a generic tourist shop is hard to find. So we made our own.
Every product carries the Golden State Walks badge: a circle icon with mountains, a pine tree, a sun, a bear, and a tiny 360° camera — because that little camera is how all of this happens. Wear it on a trail, at a farmers market, or just on a Sunday when you feel like repping something that means something.
For Everyone
Our audience ranges from retired hikers who miss the trails they used to walk, to younger folks who discovered outdoor content during a season of staying in. If you've ever watched a nature video just to hear the wind, you're our kind of people.
Follow along on YouTube and TikTok at @GoldenStateWalks. Every purchase helps keep the camera charged and the hikes coming.
Wear the trail. Carry California with you.
